Why? Because they describe the great battle of Armageddon. The End Times battle. The battle of Gog & Magog. The battle in which Jesus rides in on a white horse

But still, we are called to always be prepared to give an answer!

In other words, history tends to repeat itself. We tend to see the same things happen over and over. Another famous saying goes "he who doesn't know history tends to repeat it."
