Kirk Cameron starred in Growing Pains as a child, and now is well-known as a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

He’s one of our favorite people in Hollywood, setting such an amazing example.

He’s always tried to live according to what Jesus calls us to, and he’s made several movies to teach these lessons.  Now he’s going viral for a new video on marriage advice that he’s put out alongside his wife, Chelsea.

“Marriage is a covenant relationship between me, my wife and Jesus,” he told Focus On The Family in a recent interview. “And there is no exiting out of that covenant relationship.”

That’s advice our culture would do well to listen to!  I wish more people could hear this!

Kirk and Chelsea have been married for 25 years, so he has some credibility on the topic.  They are also parents to six beautiful children. They first met while starring as sweethearts on Growing Pains, but continued the relationship off-set.

As devoted believers in God, they go through life like the rest of us, but they don’t live according to their circumstances.  “God defines the terms we don’t,” Kirk said.

Trusting in God has been the core of their marriage, and now they’re sharing their best marriage advice with everyone in the hopes of strengthening millions of marriages.

“Our culture so badly needs strong marriages and families,” Kirk told CBN News. “It’s the DNA of a healthy country and a healthy world.”

Kirk has always said that the key to a stronger nation and better community are healthier families. Cameron believes that without faith in God, families, and society as a whole, will fail.  He’s right.

The marriage teaching is a hit with fans, already seeing huge demand.

The approach is unique.  By inviting strangers into their home, it makes the teaching extremely personal. “So, we hope that ‘The Heart of Family’ will both revive marriages and homes but it will also reinvigorate peoples’ faith,” Kirk explained.

The six-week course premiered on Aug. 21 and is still going strong. Check it out and make sure to share this great news with families in need!
