Pope Francis Tells Gay Man: “God Made You This Way”

As if there was ANY remaining doubt, Pope Francis just put the nail in the coffin, exposing his true colors.

And those colors are NOT a man of God.  Nope, not even close.

You see, for thousands of years, the Bible has had a very clear teaching on homosexuality.  In short, it does not approve.  Certainly, it would have been heresy to ever declare that God condones homosexuality or takes part in “creating people to be gay”.

If there were any doubt, this verse makes it pretty clear:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

And others:

The law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, men who practise homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine. (1 Timothy. 1:9-10)

And one more just for good measure:

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

None of that means we should treat people poorly or different than others.  In fact, we are called to love everyone regardless of their position on this issue.  So let’s get that out of the way right at the beginning.

But just as we should love all people, the Bible also calls us to “speak the TRUTH in love”.  And that means people in teaching positions (like, I don’t know…..the Pope!) need to teach the Biblical truth on matters, especially when the truth is not in dispute.

But of course the Pope didn’t do that.

No, the Pope just came right out and went full heresy by telling a man that God man him homosexual and….wait for it….God likes him that way!

Don’t believe me?  Here’s the report from FoxNews:

Pope Francis reportedly told a gay man from Chile who was visiting the Vatican that God made him that way and loves him the way he is.

Juan Carlos Cruz, who was reportedly a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of a priest, reportedly spent days at the Vatican to talk about his experiences.

Cruz reportedly told El Pais, a Spanish newspaper, that the two had a conversation about his homosexuality and said he was told, “Juan Carlos, I don’t care about you being gay. God made you that way and loves you as you are and I don’t mind. The pope loves you as you are, you have to be happy with who you are.”

Stunning right?

This comes on the heels of Pope Francis’ comments in 2013 when he said of homosexuality:  “who am I to judge?”  In hindsight, that was clearly laying the groundwork for his more progressive views he expressed today.

More, from FoxNews:

Francis uttered his “Who am I to judge?” comment during his first airborne press conference in 2013, signaling a new era of acceptance and welcome for gays in the church. Francis followed up by meeting with gay and transgender faithful.

Fr. James Martin, the author of “Building a Bridge,” told The Times that Francis’ reported comments are a “big deal” because it is likely the first time the pope made a comment “about gay people being born that way.”

Martin told the paper that the pope made the reported comment in private and not on the record, which is a big difference.

Meanwhile, every active Chilean bishop offered to resign Friday over what Francis said was their “grave negligence” in investigating abuse and protecting children.

Herecy and Blasphamy! Totally against Biblical Cannon! I’m a Catholic but I haven’t been to church for months, since I’ve been hearing this rubbish come out of his mouth. He’s betrayed the Church and those who serve it.
