Did you know we have a solar eclipse coming up?

That’s right, on August 21, 2017 there will be a massive solar eclipse!

While this is a cool event and many look forward to seeing it, I’m here to tell you about the significance behind the event and why it is astonishing proof of intelligent design….by a creator…..Creator God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!  YAHWEH!

Do you know the odds of a solar eclipse even being possible?  It’s virtually against all likelihood of random chance.

You see, our Sun is approximately 400 times larger than our Moon.  Did you know that?  It’s true!  But if that’s true, then why do the Sun and Moon look about the same size in the sky?  And how is it possible that our Moon could then totally cover our sun, almost perfectly, in a solar eclipse?

It’s because while the Sun is 400 times larger than our Moon, it is also roughly 400 times farther away from Earth than the Moon is.  When you put those things together, you get a Sun and Moon that are almost exactly the same size from the vantage point of Earth.

Absolutely stunning.

Folks, it takes WAY more faith to believe that all of this Universe started from nothing, then ended up in some goo that eventually evolved and turned into birds, fish, mammals and humans, and then what do you know, the Moon and the Sun just happen to line up perfectly together in our sky to form a solar eclipse!  Just crazy random chance!

I don’t think so.
