🎶 O Praise The Name! 🎶

I love this song! I could listen to this song on repeat

I love this song!

I could listen to this song on repeat….and I often do!  Yeah, you’re gonna want to bookmark this.

It’s hard to dislike anything from Hillsong, but I think this is one of the best in years.  Such an anointed song!

I’m not sure what my favorite line is, but it might be this:
For endless days we will sing Your praise

Every time that line comes up, I get a little glimpse in my spirit about what that will be like.  I don’t think our human minds are designed to fully comprehend the “endless days” of eternity, so I get a glimpse of the idea and then it slips away.  But it will be glorious!

Here are the official lyrics:

“O Praise The Name (Anástasis)”

I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me.
I see His wounds,His hands, His feet.
My Saviour on that cursed tree

His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph’s tomb.
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

And then on the third at break of dawn,
The Son of heaven rose again.
O trampled death where is your sting?
The angels roar for Christ the King

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

He shall return in robes of white,
The blazing Son shall pierce the night.
And I will rise among the saints,
My gaze transfixed on Jesus’ face

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God
