It is reportedly the burial shroud of Jesus. And if that weren’t special enough, researchers claim that it has Jesus’ face and image burned onto it.
But here’s the really freaky part. It’s not painted on with any technology we can figure out. No ink, no paint. It seems to just be burned onto it, almost like radiation.
It has baffled researchers for decades. Some claim it’s a fake, but they can’t quite explain it away. Some have tried to claim that carbon dating proves it actually originates from the Middle Ages and not first century AD. However those claims have largely been debunked when it was learned they only carbon tested a very patch that was actually added to the Shroud in the Middle Ages. Oops!
Now ABC News had conducted it’s own investigation and the results are in: the Shroud is likely REAL!
